NYC Girls Trip–Part 2

We visited Central Park for just a short time.  The colors in the park were just at peak….beautiful.  Following are some photos from our visit to Central Park.

Central Park was just beautiful in the fall.

We had dinner reservation in Midtown at Fig and Olive.  Delicious!

Our dinner was in Midtown and we had time to go to Rockefeller Center ice rink for Melissa and Shauna to skate for a while.

They skated for a little over an hour with no falls and said it was really fun.  Day three is coming next.

New York City Girls Trip–Part 1

This year we went all out for our girls trip and headed to New York City!  We arrived on a Friday and after checking into our hotel, which was just off Times Square, we went out to lunch and shop a bit. (Following are a combination of iphone photos and quality digital camera.)

After shopping we changed and went to John’s Pizzeria before our Broadway show “Newsies”.

And then dessert at Junior’s – cheesecake.

The next morning we had reservations at the 9-11 Memorial.

  From there we went to Battery Park to that we could see the Statue of Liberty.  We took the subway up to Chinatown where we shopped a little, then on to Little Italy for lunch.

We still had plenty of time until our dinner reservation so we then took the subway to Columbus Circle to visit Central Park.  Part 2 up next!

It’s Flag Football Season

Nathan and Ty are playing flag football this fall….at least Ty was going to play….but after a cracked foot/toe he has been out the past few weeks.  He is just getting out of his boot and beginning to play baseball and hopefully will be playing the last week of football as well.

In the early weeks of football, while there was still some sunshine, I took some photos of Nathan playing football.  He has done really well with two “pick-six” and several touchdowns.

Nathan played on the Cowboys this year.  Hopefully I will be able to get at least a couple photos of Ty next week.

Hodge October Birthdays

Another year has rolled around to October and we enjoy celebrating Kevin, Tiffany and Sheila’s birthdays with the Hodge family.

So thankful for this family and happy to celebrate another year with them.  Happy Birthday!
