Top of Copper Mountain

We stopped at Copper Mountain as we were riding our bikes down from Vail Pass to Frisco.  We enjoyed a cup of coffee and then decided to ride the lift up to the top of the Copper Mountain ski area.  After arriving at the top we took a short hike around the mountain for some outstanding views.   Following are a few pictures from our trip.

There were a few wildflowers blooming.  They have been scarce because of the light snowpack this year.

This is a beautiful view of the rugged Gore Range in the distance.
