The culmination of our July 4th with the Hodge boys was shooting off fireworks. Since the boys are all old enough now to really enjoy fireworks, Steve purchased a variety for them to try. I don’t remember all the types but they had a wide variety that kept them busy for about an hour and a half! We burned a few at dusk and then finished them off after dark. I had a great time taking photos!
Lighting firecrackers and then running….
Steve hung a long roll of firecrackers to a tree and set them off…

The next two photos were of bottle rockets….these were fantastic and went so high…….
And Steve again hung a string of firecrackers to the tree for the grand finale.
We had so much fun with the fireworks. We are thinking we might need to get some to celebrate the new year.
